Why visit the Italian NetFest? Here's why…
If you are looking for an early summer tour with competitive netball and a lively social scene, then look no further than the Italian NetFest. It is the perfect opportunity to get together with friends, play a game you love and enjoy the sun!
Set in charismatic Rimini, the festival will run from 23-26 May 2008. On 24 May, the whole day will be dedicated to netball, and a tournament will be held for all teams to fight it out for the chance of winning the title. The remainder of your stay is yours to spend as you desire; we can arrange training sessions or you can spend time on the beach, recovering from the night before.
Location, location, location…
Rimini is the playground of Italy's rich and famous, as well as thousands of other European holidaymakers each year, and it is the partying heart of the Italian Riviera. The wide, sandy beaches are perfect for a spot of sun worshipping, and when it gets too hot you can take advantage of the calm Adriatic Sea for a dip to cool off. Shopping trips to Rimini Old Town and the Republic of San Marino, plus visits to various other tourist attractions in the area, are perfect for filling a spare afternoon.
Our fantastic venues
Fixtures will be played in indoor venues under the supervision of UK qualified officials.
Accommodation will be in one of our excellent NetFest hotels. Tourists will be able to enjoy 3-star hotels on a bed and breakfast basis. All hotels have air conditioning or fans and en suite bathrooms.
Great nightlife
Saying
the nightlife is great hardly does Rimini justice! The main strip runs for
miles and is reportedly home to some 1,300 bars and clubs. The place
jumps from dusk 'til dawn and there is no excuse not to be feeling fragile
in the morning. Special nights will be organised during the course of the
tournament, such as karaoke evenings, bar crawls and your final night presentation.

Flight
to Italy from London or East Midlands Airport.
Arrival in Italy, met by festival representatives.
Executive coach transfer to hotel in Rimini.
Check in to hotel accommodation and undertake local orientation.
Organised welcome meeting for all the teams participating in the NetFest
(an opportunity to get to know your opposition before confronting them on
the court).
Pub crawl will be organised.
Overnight in hotel.
DAY 2 »24

Breakfast
served in hotel.
Morning transfer to netball stadium for the tournament.
Fixtures to take place during the whole day.
Food available at the venue.
17:00hrs – fixtures finish; transfer back to hotel.
Prepare for another big night out in Rimini.
Presentation evening in 'The Lord Nelson' (drinks vouchers available).

Breakfast
served at accommodation.
Free day – take a trip to San Marino or relax in one of the many day
spas located in Rimini (supplement applies); alternatively soak up the sun
on the long stretch of beach, just a few minutes walk from hotel.
It's your last night in Rimini - make sure you make the most of it.
A bus will be arranged to take all festival participants to a local club
in the area to end what should be a memorable last night in Rimini.

Breakfast served at accommodation.
Spend the morning recovering by the pool, at the beach or in the shops.
Evening transfer to airport Bologna Forli or Ancona airport by coach.
Check-in for return flight to the UK.
Tour arrangements terminate on your arrival in the UK.

Festival reps will arrange entertainments, such as the NetFest karaoke party, or the legendary NetFest pub crawl – netball style, no footwork or else!

FAQs
Can we stay longer?
This is an option available to all groups flying to the tournament.
Arrive the day before the tournament so the group is ready and waiting for
the fun to begin, plus a whole extra day/night out on tour!
Additional night before the festival £20 per person per night.
Additional night after the festival is available at £25 per person per night.
What's the accommodation like?
Three star properties with clean, modern, en suite accommodation.
24 hour receptions with porter.
All hotels have bars and serve a breakfast buffet each day.
Rooms are twin, triple and quad sharing.
All hotels are a very short walk from the beach and near a massive array
of bars and pubs.
